Our three-part course is designed to help you prepare for your next nature and hiking trip whether you're a first-time traveler, have attended a Ma’wa trip before, or have some experience exploring the outdoors. We’ll be sharing crucial tips on packing, planning, and training advice for a variety of outdoor experiences (everything from cabin trip in the Poconos to a backpacking trip in the Sierras).

Are you ready to join Ma'wa on a big international expedition this year? Has Machu Picchu been on your bucket list or are you dreaming of hiking in Patagonia? Our one-hour live course will share everything you need to know to select proper gear, clothes, and adequately train for long-distance hiking trips and high-altitude summits. We will be answering questions about our flagship expeditions in Nepal, Peru, Kilimanjaro, and Patagonia as well for anyone interested in joining us this year inshaAllah!
Course Instructor: Nadah Feteih is a runner, trekker, mountaineer, and experienced outdoor guide. She is certified Wilderness First Responder has led 100+ Muslim women outdoors on domestic and international experiences over the past year and has a number of notable summits under her belt: Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Everest Base Camp in Nepal, the Tour du Mont Blanc in Europe, Salkantay Trek in Argentina, Mt. Whitney in California, among many others. She believes strongly in equipping Muslim women with the confidence and guidance to embark on these big objectives and to help you reach your own goals 🌍️
